to find out more information Essential Functions Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
Responsibilities and Duties
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
- Ambulation
- Eating
- Dressing
- Shaving
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Taking vital signs
- Application of an external catheter
- Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing
- laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have 1-year professional experience or be a licensed CNA (private duty and personal family members not accepted as professional experience)
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a valid Driver's License and proof of current vehicle insurance
- Must have a clean background check and be able to pass a drug test Applications can be filled out online at

- Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Understanding dementia care
- Incontinence care
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
